Winter Seasonal Potluck

Years ago I started having potlucks and dinners in my home and others’ homes. Throughout the last few years I have been able to meet some great people and eat delicious food.

This Saturday December 8th, I will be having the final potluck for 2012 and wanted to invite you! It will be at the gallery at 7pm. You will be able to meet new people, share conversation and eat good food. Bring a side dish or dessert. Please email me at fpartsandbooks@gmail.com to give me a heads up so we can plan small details.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Saturday July 28th–Create!

Create Art this Saturday in a No Pressure Environment!

Come to The Gallery July 28th at 10:30AM to bring out your creative side. Emily Janowiak, a local artist and art teacher, will be leading this workshop. You’ll experiment with texture stamping in a painting, and you’ll learn how to layer and apply texture in creative ways. How in-depth you get is up to you–create your personal masterpiece or just mess around with the supplies. This is a no pressure, creative adventure. You will leave with new knowledge, meet new people and leave with your own artwork.

Textural elements, paint and paper will be provided. Some paint will be washable while others will not. Please wear something that you won’t mind getting a little paint on.

Kids who are accompanied by an adult are welcome to participate.

Light snacks will be provided, but feel free to stop by Calvin Fletcher’s to grab a morning cup of coffee.

This is a free event.

Music at the Gallery!

Emerging Indianapolis musician, Nicholas James Alcock, and a local music collective, Youth Camp, will be performing June 22 at 7PM ($5) in our gallery space. Support local artists as you enjoy the experimental ambient dream music of these talented musicians. Check out their sound here: Nicholas Jame Alcock and Youth Camp

Support our neighbors and bring your dinner or coffee with you and enjoy it during the show. Grab coffee at Calvin Fletcher’s Coffee and a delicious Mexican sandwich at Tortas or any of the great places down the street in Fountain Square and enjoy the music.
